Background


Randy began his real estate career in 1971 as an agent with a major real estate firm in Houston in the Commercial

Office Building Leasing Department. In 1976, Randy worked for a Houston developer as a project leasing and sales coordinator and marketed and sold Sugar Branch, a 91-acre master-planned development on Beltway 8.


In 1977, he was associated with a Houston industrial and real estate firm as a broker and manager of the Office Leasing Division. In 1979, he and Roddy McAlpine formed Mason-McAlpine, a commercial real estate firm specializing in consulting, leasing, property management, and sale of office buildings.


In 1999, Randy and Roddy joined Colliers International as Sr VP's in Commercial Real Estate, and both were involved in the negotiation of numerous leases representing both building owners and tenants. Randy has assisted a wide range of clients with their office leasing and property management needs. He has represented various banks, national insurance firms, and Houston real estate investors in project leasing, property management, building sales, and renovation. 


In 2010, with over 40 years of experience, Randy joined McAlpine Interests and has been involved in other aspects integral to commercial real estate, including representation and lease negotiation for tenants, along with marketing, advertising, consultation and coordination of building design, space planning and renovation for building owners.

Randy holds a BS degree from Lamar University.

Personal


Randy and his wife, Judy, have been married for 43 years, and they have two sons. One is an executive in the accounting placement business, and the other works at Apple Computer.
